• Tophat is pleased to announce the hiring of Troy Garner as Director of Coaching for the Athena teams (U13-U19).  Troy comes to Tophat with an extensive playing and coaching background.  He was the Georgia Gatorade and AJC High School Player of the Year in 1996. Troy was also a 3 time All-ACC player with Duke University and played for the USA U-17, U18, and U20 National teams, including the U17 World Cup in Japan. Troy's last position was Director of Coaching for boys and girls (U13-U15) at Atlanta Fire United Soccer Association.

"Tophat is one of the premier soccer clubs in the country and has an extremely rich soccer tradition. I am looking forward to taking on the role of  U13-U19 Director of Coaching and working with Ted to enhance an environment in which the development of the players is already of primary importance."  Troy will begin his duties as DOC at Tophat on June 8th, and is looking forward to working with our players.
